ABOUT ME
My name is James Francosky; originally born in Queens, NY but currently residing near Tampa, FL. I am on schedule to graduate from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s in Internet Marketing in 2018. I am currently working for Walt Disney World in a behind the scenes technical support team (code name "The Avengers") who support the park's estimated over $1 Billion digital enhancement of its theme park operations including the MyDisneyExperience website and mobile application, MagicBands, and FastPass+.
Growing up I’ve always had a large chip on my shoulder of people telling me the things that I can or cannot do just based on judging a book by its cover. I remember being in middle school and being told that I’d “never amount to being a good student” because of what elementary school I came from. Ever since then, I’ve made it a goal to push to see how far I could go to prove those critics wrong. Unfortunately, the one thing holding me back was that I didn’t have any formal education or a college degree.
Through all the varying degrees of different career paths and projects I’ve worked on, there’s one thing that I’ve developed an uncanny knack for. I have the ability to be put into a situation completely outside my comfortability, and be able to learn and adapt to that new world to where I can come out and be able to offer suggestions on how to streamline and make things better. For anyone who’s looking to work with me, they can expect me to listen and soak in the information; never coming into a situation thinking I know what is going on. Taking all this new information I’ve gathered, meshing it up with what I know from the past, and produce a product or process that would make things efficient, cost effective, and change things for the better.
